With 520 gorilla runners already signed up and a further 200 expected before the big day on 27 September, the Great Gorilla Run 2008 is shaping up to be the biggest and best ever.

Never, in the history of the Great Gorilla Run have we had so many people registered and fundraising at this point in the year and we’re on track to break our own World Record record for the largest gathering of people dressed as gorillas as well as having a runner to represent each of the world’s remaining 720 mountain gorillas.

Thanks to all those who have already signed up and if you’re still considering, don’t hang around too long as numbers are restricted due to a limit on the number of available gorilla suits.
