Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Team Gorilla. All three stared at this year’s Hop Farm festival. Respect to Bob and Van but it was Team Gorilla that really made a difference, raising over £1,200 for the Gorilla Organization’s conservation and community development projects.
For the third year running, an army of gorilla volunteers headed down to ‘The Garden of England’, Kent, to work behind the bars and serve a 55,000 strong festival crowd during one of the hottest weekends seen so far this summer.
When they weren’t slogging away for the gorillas they were taking some well deserved relaxation time watching the likes of Bob, Van, and a whole host of other acts such as Blondie, Pete Doherty, Mumford and Sons and Laura Marling.
With more festivals coming up throughout the summer our Festival Gorillas will soon be called upon again to serve the cause and raise more funds for the Gorilla Organization.
