Wednesday, 2nd April - that was the day when 700 gorilla suits made there way to the urban jungle that is North London. They were greeted with excitement and anticipation by gorilla man Sam and his team of eager volunteers, who spent the day carefully settling them in to their new home at Big Yellow Storage. Needless to say, by the end of the day there was fluffy black fur everywhere.

Of course this multitude of Gorilla suits has been very warmly welcomed by everyone at the Gorilla Organization, as they will eventually play a huge part in London’s silliest fundraising event, the Great Gorilla Run 2008. As you can imagine this day always guarantees a laugh and this year we will be no exception especially since we will be trying to break the world record for the most people dressed as a gorilla in one place.

So please sign up and give at least one of these lovely gorilla suits a happy home, and the freedom to run around London’s best-loved sights (a Big thank you to Big Yellow for looking after the Gorilla suits in the mean time!).
