Thanks to all you Great Gorillas - we’ve hit the 720 runner target for the Great Gorilla Run London on Saturday 27 September and we still have two weeks to go until the run.

720 is the number of mountain gorillas left on earth - that’s one for each of the runners signed up.

Now we have sights set on 800 runners - if only we could help the gorillas grow their numbers as quickly.

So if you’re thinking of signing up you better hurry - gorilla suits are becoming as rare as the gorillas themselves!
