Another contender for the perfect Great Gorilla Run character, Gladiator Gorilla, symbolises the battle to save the last gorillas on earth.
Just think of Russell Crowe and his fellow Gladiators valiantly fighting off all that the Roman Emperor can throw at them…
That’s more or less what the wildlife rangers in Central Africa have to deal with on a daily basis.

A pimp is hardly a character to aspire to but their classic 70’s flared and big collar outfits do go rather nicely over a gorilla suit.
Imagine Huggy Bear, played by Antonio Fargas in the 1970’s American TV show, Starsky and Hutch, although he wasn’t actually a pimp of course, but he sure had the clothes down perfectly.
And Snoop Dog, the self-styled pimp, played the role of Huggy Bear in the 2004 movie remake.
