2008 Great Gorilla Run set for Saturday 27 September
On Saturday 27 September, 720 people will take to the streets of London, in their very furry, very funny, gorilla suits, for the 2008 Great Gorilla Run – the gorillas are definitely coming!

On 13 October 2008, 16 brave and determined people will leave for Africa to take on the Great Gorilla Challenge. They will raft the source of the Nile, trek through the bamboo forests of the Virunga Volcanoes and come face to face with one of our closest relatives, the Mountain gorilla. The Gorilla Organization is now looking for adventurous people who are prepared to take part in the race to save the gorillas from extinction.
There are many charity runs but none are quite like this – 1,000 people, all dressed up as gorillas and going ape for a day!
